From corona to rocket attacks - the last 16 months have been really hard for the at-risk children and teenagers of the Emunah Achuzat Sara children home in Bnei Brak. One thing that has kept everyone’s spirits up was knowing that Kol HaNearim was coming, and the summer would be full of its usual fun again! The energy and love that the KH volunteers brought to every activity shows the children and young people at Achuzat Sara, just how much they matter. It has given everyone a giant boost. This year has been different because the full KH contingent couldn’t come from abroad due to the corona travel restrictions. The volunteers who came to run the camp at Emunah Achuzat Sara spent their year in Israel studying and stayed to be able to give our children the best summer possible. Emunah has five children’s homes and in past years, they have all benefited from KH run summer camps. This year, because of corona, it was only possible to have volunteers at Achuzat Sara. We feel even more special and we couldn’t be more grateful for all that KH has done for us!
