
Rachel Bargad

Rachel Bargad, a native Israeli with dual Israeli-American citizenship, works at Neve Michael children home as director of programs and projects. Rachel is an accomplished educator as well. She has received an MA in School Administration at St. John University in New York, BA and MA in Middle Eastern Studies at Bar Ilan University and also achieved a Teachers Certificate for History at Bar Ilan University. Her teaching career includes a thirteen-year tenure at the Flatbush Yeshiva High School in Brooklyn, New York along with tenures at Evelina de Rothschild High School in Jerusalem and the Neve Hanna in Gush Etzion. Rachel served in the IDF as a Mora Chayelet where she commanded and instructed soldiers from difficult backgrounds. She speaks Hebrew, English, and Arabic fluently.
